The Japanese Food Fest, known as JAPAN Fes, was founded by Dragon Yamamoto, an entrepreneur from Okayama, Japan, who moved to New York in 2011. He aimed to create opportunities to promote Japanese culture through food, music, and art. Since its inception, JAPAN Fes has grown into the world’s largest Japanese festival, attracting over 1,000,000 visitors and 2,000 vendors across 70 events globally, including New York City, Paris, and Tokyo locations.
The festival brings together local and international vendors, offering Japanese cuisine, from ramen and Takoyaki to okonomiyaki and yakisoba. It also features traditional Japanese clothing, art, and live performances, making it a full cultural experience.
JAPAN Fes continues to expand, uniting cultures and fostering connections through food and shared experiences. If you plan to attend, expect an exciting mix of flavors and traditions!
